Hello Everyone!

The Texas Democratic Convention is quickly approaching and we need your help. The convention will be held on May 6th and 7th at the Austin Convention Center. This is important opportunity for the campaign to reach thousands of Texas Democrats and engage them in our campaign. A portrait of East Austin… Fault Line
Presented by the Mexican American Cultural Center

Opening Thursday, April 10th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm
With a lecture by the photographer at 7:00 pm
Location:  The Mexican American Cultural Center, 600 River Street
Drinks and refreshments served

John Langmore spent more than a year photographing East Austin .  With an uncanny combination of humor and eloquence, John’s photographs reveal the culture, the celebrations, the people and the beauty of East Austin .

These photographs will instill not only an understanding of Austin’s distinctive Hispanic community, but will also force one to reflect on what losing this vital Community to gentrification will mean for our city’s future.

Exhibit will be on display in the Community Hall Gallery April 3rd – 27th
